Shatta Wale, the reggae-dancehall artist, is not letting social media bullies get to him; instead, he is encouraging them to support KiDi on his new ‘Touch It’ remix starring Tyga.
Shatta Wale became a topic of conversation after a video of him kissing his bodyguard, Shatta Kumoji, surfaced on social media following his release from jail. Kumoji was in police custody for a few days, and his first stop was at Shatta’s house, when ’emotions ran high.’ In addition to kissing Kumoji, the dancehall artist gave him the necklace he was wearing.
Following the conversation online on the event, Shatta said that Ghanaians should use the same energy they are using to discuss the ‘holy kiss’ in promoting KiDi.
“@KiDiMusic drop song pls let’s push and stop talking about my Holy kiss. Go KiDi Go Ghana!!” he tweeted Thursday. As all this happened, Shatta’s girlfriend Elfreda and his close friends were present but looked on in what seemed like a bit of confusion. The video has been the subject of discussion but Shatta Wale playfully dismissed all assumptions with his tweet saying “Kissing makes my fans happy,” he posted.
