Roddy Ricch – Late At Night

Roddy Ricch - Late At Night Roddy Ricch - Late At Night

A native of Compton, Roddy Ricch sings of his intense love for his significant other in the melodious ballad “Late at Night,” which Mustard produced.

On May 10, 2021, Roddy tweeted a clip, with the single-emoji description implying that the song might be the upcoming single from his anticipated trilogy-ending mixtape, Feed Tha Streets III.

He returned to the platform on May 25, 2021, to reaffirm that the track would be released on June 4, 2021, along with the music video that would go with it.

Roddy Ricch appears in the music video at a nighttime amusement park. Before entering a portal that transports him to an 80s-themed party, he is shown riding a Ferris wheel and wearing attire reminiscent of Michael Jackson, a prominent figure of the 1980s. Famous model Kerreuche Tran, who is portrayed as Roddy Ricch’s love interest, is also shown in the song video. Roddy is seen changing into a werewolf at the end of the music video, just like Michael Jackson did in his hit song “Thriller,” and he starts chasing Kerreuche before she wakes up and realizes it was all a dream. She then departs with Roddy Ricch, who turns to face the camera and flashes eyes that are like those of a werewolf.

I’m hoping that the success of this album will help the Afro-classic crooner reach new heights.
