On the day he was found guilty of assault, Dizzee Rascal released a “diss tune,” the court was informed.

A court has been informed that Dizzee Rascal created a “diss tune” that he released on the day he was found guilty of abusing his ex-fiancee.

The 38-year-old Bonkers singer, real name Dylan Mills, is contesting his conviction for assaulting Cassandra Jones at Inner London Crown Court on June 8, 2017.

He “barged” into her South London house, according to Ms. Jones, who testified on Friday from behind a screen, before “smashing” his head against the refrigerator “out of fury.”

She said she “stumbled to the ground” after Mills – known for chart-topping singles Holiday and Dance Wiv Me – “pushed his forehead into my forehead and pushed me around the room”.

“He reached his red mist where he just doesn’t care,” she said.

But Sallie Bennett-Jenkins KC suggested her client was “perfectly calm” when he arrived and it was Ms Jones who “has a temper” and is “abusive” towards him.
