Jesse Lingard, a free agent, has signed a one-year contract with Nottingham Forest.

The former Manchester United attacker has turned down an offer from West Ham to join the newly promoted Premier League club, despite the fact that the one-year deal does not contain an option for a second year.

Lingard’s representation has been in contact with at least four other teams in recent days after he departed Old Trafford last month when his contract expired.
