More problems for Portable as the IGP orders an investigation into his claim of founding a cult of “one million boys”

Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police, has authorized an inquiry into Portable’s accusation of creating some lethal cult organizations in Lagos State.

The fast-rising artist said in a now-deleted Instagram video that he established two renowned cult organizations, One-Million Boys and Ajah Boys, which terrorized sections of Lagos State.

According to a statement issued by the force’s spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP has directed the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Biodun Alabi, to examine the indicting statement and take appropriate legal action.

CSP Adejobi posted on Twitter, “Cultism: Police to Investigate Portable over Formation of One Million Boys.”

“The IGP has ordered a follow-up to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, in which he claimed to have created the One-Million Boys cult organization terrorizing several sections of Lagos State.”

“CP Lagos will investigate the indicting statement and take whatever legal action that is necessary.” This decision is based on the Nigeria Police Force’s ongoing efforts to identify pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to crush their activities and restore sanity to our society.”
