Juice WRLD examines the psychological distress associated with a breakup in “Lucid Dreams.”
In a state of awareness known as lucid dreaming, a person is conscious of their dreaming. With enough practice, a dreamer can gradually start to manipulate the details of their dreams. In order to avoid the pain of seeing his ex-lover in his dreams, Juice seeks to replace them—for good—using the concept of controlling a lucid dream as an analogy for his mental state.
I’m hoping that the success of this album will help the Afro-classic crooner reach new heights.
