According to a press statement signed by Dr. Victor Moses, National Publicity Secretary, Atiku Support Organisation, he said during a meeting in Abuja with leaders of over 200 support groups and the leadership of TeeCom from across the country.

‘Atiku to work more with the youth and transit power to the young generation, says Atiku Support Organization,’ read the statement.
Atiku expressed his delight that more young people are getting involved in politics, promising to mentor them and hand over his political structure to them.

According to reports, the former Vice-President said,

“Our administration will be a power transition from the older generation to the younger generation.”

The Atiku Support Organisation, on the other hand, urged young people to vote for Atiku, claiming that he would provide them with more opportunities.

“His Excellency, Alh. Atiku Abubakar’s unreserved, passionate, and unrepentant desire and commitment to work with the youth and hand over power to young Nigerians is a sure pathway to youth inclusion and the right direction toward building a modern Nigeria,” according to the statement.

“His public and open commitment to transfer power to the younger generation, the first of its kind in Nigerian political history, puts his head and shoulders above all other aspirants seeking to lead the country in 2023.

“I’ll mentor you and delegate authority to you.”

I’d like to work with young people more because they are more adaptable, creative, and aware of current opportunities and challenges.

“His track record clearly demonstrates that his promises are not just political rhetoric, as he is known for promoting young people into positions of leadership.” Many of his mentees are now governors, senators, representatives, ministers, and in a variety of other positions.

“For decades, the youth have been abandoned in the scheme of things in Nigeria, who are paying the ultimate price for the APC-General Muhammadu Buhari-led maladministration. The truth is that without inclusiveness and productive youth, no nation can develop.

His Excellency, Alh. Atiku Abubakar promised to change the dynamic by working with more young people to enhance opportunities and productivity.

“We, therefore, call on all young Nigerians,
delegates and non-delegates to rally around His Excellency, Alh. Atiku Abubakar to clinch victory as the PDP Presidential flag bearer in the forthcoming primary and return elected as the President of the federal republic of Nigeria in the 2023 presidential elections.”
