Nollywood actor and politician Yul Edochie denounced the killing and burning of a female student at the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State on Friday.
Deborah was beaten to a pulp and set ablaze by male Muslim students on Thursday after they accused her of insulting Prophet Muhammed on a group WhatsApp network.
Following that, the kids filmed the heinous deed and shared it on social media.
Edochie reacted by calling for an investigation into Deborah’s horrible death.
God, he claims, is powerful enough to fight his battles because he created all humanity and the earth.
“I deplore Deborah’s murder,” he stated on Twitter. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
“God, who created all humanity and the world, is capable of fighting his battles.”
“Yes, I want to be President, and whether or not you vote for me, my desire will never prevent me from telling the truth.”
