As the two-month warning strike comes to an end today, Monday, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has vowed to go on indefinite strike.

The union made the announcement during a National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Sunday.

At the meeting, ASUU accused the Federal Government of being unconcerned, claiming that the outcome of the meeting would be communicated to Nigerians.

Remember that the union issued a four-week warning strike in February, which was prolonged by eight weeks in March when the union and the Federal Government were unable to reach an agreement on the demands of university lecturers.
